How does the PowerLock Anti-Theft Device work?
Theives of today have learnt how to circumvent the fuel and ignition immobilizer. Power Lock uses a unique solenoid module that attaches directly to the solenoid ignition terminal on the starter motor. The vehicle will not start untill it recieves a 128bit encrypted rolling every second code from the main control box.

The Powerlock also comes with an optional Anti Car-jacking option that will automatically switch the vehicles engine off after 90 seconds of a car being hijacked. Once the engine is off, the cars Powerlock system will not allow the car to start unit the Fob deactivates the system.
