USS Europe Ltd, the European distributer for the Powerlock Brand are looking to open a chain of distributors in the following countries across Europe.
The Powerlock brand uses a unique solenoid module that once fitted to the initiate post of the vehicles starter motor becomes an integral part of the engine and can not be removed without damaging the starter motor and hence having to remove and fit a new starter motor. Once fitted the engine will not start until it receives a unique code from a special key fob which is carried separately from the car keys.
The Powerlock also comes with an optional Anti Car-jacking option that will automatically switch the vehicles engine off after 90 seconds of a car being hijacked. Once the engine is off, the cars Powerlock system will not allow the car to start unit the Fob deactivates the system.
Powerlock has been approved by Thatcham (The Motor Insurance Repair Research Centre) as Category 2 and has also received the following European certificated approvals: 95/56/ec: 1995 Vehicle security directive for vehicles (tested to annex V Immobilizers)
95/54/ec: 1995 Vehicle EMC directive.
